This certified organic Expeller Pressed Coconut Oil is less expensive than virgin coconut oil because it can be mass produced. The coconuts are opened and quickly dried. The dried coconuts are then mechanically pressed to remove the oil, without using chemical solvents. Any free fatty acids are removed, the oil is run through diatomaceous earth, and lastly, the oil is steam distilled. This yields a very pure, uncontaminated coconut oil.

Though not a virgin oil, it still melts at 76 ° F, is very light and creamy smooth, containing the same medium chain fatty acids as virgin coconut oil. People in Southeast Asian countries, such as the Philippines, use this as their main cooking oil.

Virgin coconut oil is creamy white as a solid and water-clear as a liquid. Unlike virgin coconut oil, this expeller pressed coconut oil is an off-white to light tan color as a solid, and a light brown color when a liquid.

In wanting to enjoy the health benefits of coconut oil, we were growing tired of every baked item tasting like coconut and not having another healthy fat to cook in, other than butter (I have not been excited about the idea of purchasing lard to render myself!). This expeller-pressed coconut oil is excellent! When I used it for fried rice, my husband said it was the tastiest chicken fried rice he'd ever had. The ONLY downside to this product is that the container is a bit difficult to open, but I just had my husband open it and then we put a quart worth of oil into a mason jar...so, we will only need to open the container 2 or 3 more times within a year or so. This oil is a great value for the money! And I got to use my Amazon gift card from Christmas to purchase it!

This is the BEST litter I've found for several reasons (and I've tried most of them!):

1) It doesn't track everywhere!!!! This is the only litter I've encountered that can be completely, easily, and quickly swept up. Unlike granules of sandy litter, the pieces you see are the ONLY pieces that have made their way out of the box, so it is possible to actually capture every last piece of errant litter. And if you do happen to step on a piece, it doesn't feel like you've impaled your foot on a shard of broken glass, which is the case with silica/pearl litter (our cat rejected 2 kinds of "pearl" litter).

2) Our previously problematic cat uses it ("Why would I use a pearl litter when I can use Mom and Dad's bed?!)! Conan (1.5 yrs old), who at one point used Cat/Kitten Attract litter exclusively because he failed to adapt to so many other kinds, took to it without any problem. I mixed it with his old litter at first (Tidy Cat), but the next batch o' fresh litter was all "Dust-Free Fiber."

3) It's lightweight. Last night was the first time I did a complete box cleaning with this product, and pouring the entire contents of the box into a trash bag was MUCH easier than with traditional litter (I didn't wind up with the backache that usually accompanies this activity...always a plus!). Cleaning the bathroom/box area also went considerably faster due to the "what you see is what you get" granule factor. Was super easy to sweep up all errant particles and then mop the floor!

4) Great odor control.

5) Scooping is a bit different than with traditional litter; you basically have to scoop each piece of poop individually to avoid throwing away a bunch of litter with it, and urine doesn't really clump like the bag says. But you can scoop out what you see and the rest is absorbed pretty well.

I will be buying this litter as long as Conan keeps using it!

I have 7 cats and have tried EVERY litter out there. I had been using Feline Pine and as much as I loved it, it did turn to saw dust after being used and was tracked everywhere. So I tried this and loved it. It isn't really advertised as a clumping litter so I don't bother and just toss it when it's time. My main concern was the tracking factor and I was very happy with how this worked. It is much, MUCH less than any other litter I have ever used. It is easily swept up and doesn't go far beyond their box once they jump out. I find it controls odor as well as any other I've used. I change them very often though. My cats took to it right away and don't have "cement booties" like they used to with the traditional clumping litter which I hate. I have 1 crf (kidney failure) kitties who drinks a lot and 2 diabetic kids who drink lots of water too when they are need their insulin levels adjusted. I needed a litter to stand up to that. Elderly kitties have special needs. I find this litter meets them all. The only downside is cost and easy availability. But they are worth the effort.

I'll stick with this litter for good!

I experimented with all of the Henckels Four Star 2's and Wusthofs for quite a while but neither fit my hand as well and neither had the balance I prefer. These knives look amazing so the average home kitchen chef will look like a pro but the design helps you to cut like one as well. Calphalon isn't known for their top tier knives but these can compete with the best, especially for the money. Don't be turned away just becasue of their name or because they will spot if you mistreat them. Wash them each time, maybe run them down the steel and wipe them dry before you put them away like any $300+ set of knives should be treated and you'll have years worth of enjoyment out of these heavier than average blades.

Found these on line and purchased for my wife who runs a home based daycare and cooks for 12-14 kids daily. She has never had the privilege of using nice cutlery and would probably not spend the money on something like this for herself. She frowned at me when she found out what they cost and wanted me to return them. I insisted that she give them a try and was just as pleasantly surprised as she was. The handles are very comfortable and allow for a variety of holding positions. The Damascus style blade is beautiful. The only word of caution I can offer is that you wash and dry the blades immediately as the blades will stain if not attended to promptly. We have been using these for almost a year now and are just as pleased with their performance today as we were the first day.

Great Knife set! I did lot of research and finally decided to buy Calphalon Katana 8 piece set. But it turned out to be great decision. The Knives looks beautiful and the handle is one of the best I have seen so far. It is very comfortable; especially the integrated bolster for my pinch grip. I specially like the 8" Chef knife. It has perfect weight and balance. Out the box I did not find them super sharp. Some were sharper than others. The smaller ones had Don't get me wrong; it is sharp for average person but not for me because my obsession for sharpness. After few minutes on 6000 grit Japanese water stone and little bit of stropping on leather belt it now scary sharp! It holds the sharpness for very long time. The average user should be able to keep the sharpness for months without any use of sharpening steel. My old German knives are gathering dust. I just simply can't think of going back to German blades.

Beware of the included Sharpening steel, it is very abrasive; if not used correctly it will dull your knives. I actually do not use them and instead use my old ceramic steel.

It is a great bargain for the price. If the money were not an objective I would have got those custom Japanese Damascus knives. Buy these, you will not go wrong.

Really enjoying this knife set. The selection and sizes of knifes are good for home cooking. Have owned these for about 8 weeks now and they knives seem to be holding there sharpness well. I particularly like the Santuko knives and use those the most. And I found cleanup of the knives to be simple and easy. They fit well in my hand and feel very comfortable. They also seem well made and high quality.

While I'm not a chef myself a couple people I work with are and they showed me a bunch of different manufacturers knives. They told me they rather liked the Calphalon knives and suggested I check them out. I bought the 7" Santuko by itself prior to buying the set. I liked it so much that I decided to invest into a set. No regrets at all. A set of knives like this will last me for many years to come.

First let me say I just replaced my Anolon Classic 10-Inch Crepe Pan of 3 years with this pan. In that time I found the Anolon pan to be excellent, the only reason I decided to switch was because after 3 years the non stick finish inside the pan was starting to blister and peel off. I felt the finish should have lasted much longer than that.

My first impression of the CALPHALON Pan was, it looks and feels quite a bit heavier than my old Anolon pan.

It's more attractive looking, with its shiny metal handle. The Anolon pan had a black plastic handle.

It's larger than the Anolon pan. CALPHALON 10in total across, 8 1/4in inside, Anolon 9 5/8in across, 7 3/4in inside.

The slightly larger size of this pan is a nice plus, since I always thought the Anolon pan was a bit small.

To my surprise this heavier pan heated up quickly on my ceramic glass top stove, but the Anolon pan did so in less time.

The heat distribution was good, as it was on the Anolon pan.

The non stick coating on this pan was great, either with cooking or cleaning it. Seemed to be slightly better than the Anolon pan.

In Conclusion:::: This CALPHALON Pan is better for all around cooking since the pan is deeper, larger and the outer edges are not as sloped as the Anolon pan. This pan will hold some liquid without spilling if you lift it on a slight angle.

The ANOLON pans edges are sloped more and not as deep as this pan, it heats up faster and is definitely better for crepes and pancakes if you want to just slide them out.

The only negative I have so far is the handle does not feel right. It's to narrow for the weight of this pan, particularly if there is food in it. I get the feeling it is going to tip left or right since it is hard to get a secure grip on this narrow handle. I left the 5 stars for now since it was not that important to me since I rarely lift the pan when cooking. I did not have this problem with my old Anolon pan, it had an extremely comfortable handle.

All and all this seems to be an excellent pan so far, I'll add to this post if anything changes.

The Hoover Steam Vac with clean surge is a very easy to use machine. I did not use the cleaner that came with it. Instead, I pre-treated the spots on my carpet with Spot Shot. I then used boiling water in the steam vac instead of hot water as the directions said. I have found that when using the cleaner in the water, it leaves a residue on the carpet, which attracts dirt back into the carpet. This method of only using boiling water and pre-treating the spots worked great!!!!! I previously had my carpets professionally cleaned which cost me over $300. The Hoover Steam Vac cleaned my carpets better than the professionals. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to use and will pay for itself in no time. I have a dog that is getting older and is having more accidents and the Steam Vac easily removes the pet stains. Make sure to follow the directions closely to assemble the machine so that is works properly.

I found out about this item from a distribution list I am signed up for that focuses on how to save money. It was recommended to spot treat ahead of time and then use only boiling water in the cleaner, no detergent. The theory of avoiding detergent is that soap is difficult to get out of the carpet and adds to future dirtiness/stickyness of the carpet. Theory of using boiling water is that first of all it is very hot which means it cleans the carpet better and secondly, it is easier to get the carpet dry.

We had just purchased a foreclosed home and didn't really want to replace the carpet right away as we have multiple dogs and teenagers and would rather wait several years until we have less dogs and teenagers at home to replace it. But I did want clean carpet!

The carpet is an off-white and had definitely seen better days. We had the carpet cleaned professionally before we moved in and it looked better than before but was still dingy and I wasn't satisfied. So I bought this cleaner and tried it again using the spot treatment & boiling water method and was blown away by all of the gunk and nastiness that came out of the carpet even AFTER "professional" cleaning...and the carpet looked ten times better than before once it dried.

I would definitely buy it all over again. Spent over $350 dollars on the "professional" cleaning job and less than half that for this unit and it can be reused over and over again to keep the carpet clean. I highly recommend it but again...no detergent and use boiling water. Just do multiple dry "strokes" over the carpet until it dries...no waiting around for it to dry...it is almost instant. We love it!

After years of renting carpet cleaners, we decided it was time to purchase a unit of our own. I did some online research as to which machine would provide the best cleaning at a reasonable price and the Hoover came out on top. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together (from unpacking to finish), the instructions were easy to follow. We used it on our three bedrooms and could not believe the dirt it was pulling up from the carpets. It is just my husband and myself and two cats in the house. I knew that the carpets were due for a cleaning, but I didn't know that they were THAT dirty! It is very easy to set up, operate, and break down to empty and clean up. I sold floormates along with other cleaning tools for a couple of years but I wasn't able to see them in action.....so I relied on customer's reports. Some customers told me that this was an excellent product and I never had one returned. I finally gave in and purchased one a few months ago. It was easy to set up out of the box.

I have ceramic tile throughout the house. I also own a Flip-it and it did a terrible job and took forever to clean the large area. I tried the dry vac on the Floormate and I was shocked to see it pick all the dirt it came into contact with....as well as loose hairs instead of blowing them around. So I went over the entire floor very satisfied with that feature. Then I tried the wash feature. My pup had dirty paw prints all over the floor and I was looking forward to testing the Floormate on them. And again the unit prevailed and removed the dirt. And amazingly I did the entire floor never needing the wet/dry (wet pickup) feature, the floor was drying as I was washing....squeegee did an excellent job. So I poured water on the floor to test the wet vac and it picked it up immediately...once again pleased. The tank fills up just about the time I finish so there is no need for running back and forth to the sink. The floor was shiny and smelled clean.

Now the downside with MY unit.... there is none. But a friend purchased one and it isn't nearly as good as mine (where I dropped 1 star). I tried it out and the dry vac seemed similar to mine....but it didn't clean the floor as well and the wet/dry (wet pickup) feature still didn't dry the floor completely after washing....which was a function that I didn't really need on my Floormate. I tried to convince him to take it back because it's my assumption that it's a faulty unit but they kept it anyways. So there's my suggestion, if it doesn't seem to get the job done take it back...it could just be the unit.

I have owned this mop since March 2009. I'm not really certain the steam ever gets past the thick microfiber pads. Yes, the pad gets wet, but I could 'clean' my floor with a wet towel and it wouldn't really be clean without a chemical to go along with the water. I can see the steam come out when I pump the handle, but the pad is never more than slightly warm.

I have travertine floors. I sweep and use a dry Swifter before I use the Shark Steam Mop. I have to say that the microfiber pad shows definate evidence of picking up grime, but given the chance, I'd have bought something else.

Brinkmann's Smoke N Grill is perfect for the beginning smoker. What makes it perfect is the fact that it doesn't have all the fancy gadgets of the higher priced smokers and one has to actually learn how to make this contraption work by way of trial and error. Controlling cooking temperatures is a tedious task because there are no vents and the top has plenty of space between it and the body which allows alot of heat to escape. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this juicer for my elderly mother who was fighting cancer and was on a feeding tube. She needed to juice raw vegetables so that she could get it down her feeding tube.

At her age in her condition juicing was a challenge to say the least. She had been using another juicer that had been loaned to her but it very quickly became more than she could handle.

After reading many reviews and watching videos we decided to purchase this Breville. We were completely satisfied and so was my mom. Make no mistake, there is no way to juice without having a certain amount of prep and mess to clean up.

That being said my 83 year old mother who was a cancer patient was able to use this juicer with the best success. She did have to have help getting it out of the box and on her counter because she was quite weak at that point. It was powerful enough that the effort of juicing was minimized. This was crucial for her. I had the opportunity to use it myself. While we visited I did all the juicing for her and was very impressed with the quality of the machine.

I found clean up to be lessened by putting a small grocery bag in the catch container. After using it a few times you can get into a routine that makes the clean up process more efficient.

I would definitely recommend this product.

This juicer is pretty complete. It is easy to assemble or take apart because each piece is cut in a certain way so you know intuitively how to do it. The pitcher is designed to separate the froth from the juice. The vegetables make less juice than the fruits. It is easy to clean but takes time to clean all the parts even if you put it in the refrigerator. There are two labels on the top of the juicer. They should have used removable plastic labels. I made the mistake of trying to remove them and ended up scratching it. Now the top looks frosted. Fortunately I can still see on the sides of the top. I am happy about this purchase overall.

This is an excellent product, in my opinion. Here are some of my notes:

1. I have used my Oral-B Triumph Professional Care 9400 Power Toothbrush for about a year without any problems.

2. The toothbrush digitally indicates when it needs charging.
3. The charge is relatively long-lasting. (I have noticed that my battery indicator will blink when it is low and will continue to blink once plugged in although it is charging at this point).

4. The base station has a small footprint, with a place to store the toothbrush heads.

5. The portable charger takes up little space, and is especially useful for travel.

6. The toothbrush indicates a smiley face at the end of your two-minute clean.

7. It will also show a toothbrush head when it is time to change to a new head.

8. The toothbrush promotes two-minute cleans, 30 seconds for each quarter of the mouth. The toothbrush pulses and indicates a change when it's time to switch position in the mouth.

I have no problems at my dentist visits, and I know that I am doing a great job with this toothbrush. I now use this toothbrush with the Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet for an exceptional clean.

My dentist recommended the Oral-B 9400, and I've put it though its oral hygiene paces the last year. It's more expensive than many other models with similar features, but the similarity extends only so far. We've seen a proliferation of electric toothbrushes at $25 and under, and one might wonder why more you get for your money here. I'll go over the highlights below, but suffice it to say that the 9400 works very well but is overpriced.

Power. First, any rechargeable toothbrush is going to cost significantly more--somewhere in the $40-$50 range. If that's an important feature, you're already heading towards the Oral-B cost. Where this toothbrush really shines (no pun intended, I think) is its POWER. When fully charged, this baby's rotation leaves others far behind. While not as fast as a dentist's drill-toothbrush (and, really, I'm sorry to bring up that word), it resembles it more than others. The power enables the Braun to brush without slowing, even as you manually move it against your teeth.

Motion. Personally, I don't notice any action other than the rotation. I Trust that there's 3-D oscillation, but I don't feel it (maybe that's good). I'm also skeptical about their claim to a "floss-like clean." Use floss instead.

Features/Gimmicks.

1. Speed. There are three speeds; I don't think I've ever used anything but the fastest, but perhaps those with some initial sensitivity would appreciate the medium speed. I don't know why one would use the slowest speed.

2. Timing. The toothbrush is programmed to conceptualize brushing as a two minute endeavor, 30 seconds per each quadrant of your mouth (i.e., top left and right, bottom left and right). Accordingly the brush pauses briefly every 30 seconds, letting you know you've done your time, and then it's all ahead full for the next quadrant. At two minutes, there's a longer, easily perceived paused, at which point you can stop (and look at the electric face beaming at you from the handle) or keep going without having to turn it back on. I actually like the timer: Two minutes sometimes is longer than what my mind tells me, and I also spend as much time on the last section I brush as the first.

3. Ease of use. This is a substantial electric toothbrush, but as long as you don't have muscle issues in your hand or wrist, that shouldn't be a problem. It's quite maneuverable and it has an excellent reach. The charge lasts two weeks or more, and I recharge overnight.

4. Toothbrush Bristles. The toothbrush head contains an assortment of bristles, both softer and stiffer, and varying in length and angle. Supposedly these armaments help you tackle various oral scenarios such as food stuck between the teeth, massaging gum lines, reaching distal areas. Again, I don't think these are any substitute for flossing, but they do seem better than a conventional brush. The heads last around 3-4 months or so, and replacements are available, although at a absurdly high price. I;m still not sure how I'm supposed to know it's time for a new head, however.

5. Noise. In normal use, the Braun is medium loud, you probably won't disturb anyone if you keep the door closed, but you may if you don't.

At times, either toothpaste residue or a loose head seens to cause a high rattling sound; this just requires some cleaning or tightening.

Cost: This model has just zoomed up in price aat Amazon.com since I bought it. I suggest you shop around and see what else is available (either this model at other stores, or other models), and whether the "extras" here are really worth it.

One person's gimmick is another's brushing motivation, so it's a personal decision--although also one that should be made in consult with one's dentist. Overall, a powerful, effective, reliable, but costly toothbrush.

I bought this for my autistic 4 year old son who LOVES to climb everything and anything. We wanted a safer place for him to climb (other than chairs, tables, fish tanks, etc). This is great. Since we've had this climbing structure, he's been seeking out dangerous situations less and less. My 6 year old son loves it too although he's a little big for it (he's 4 feet tall) but that still doesn't stop him.

There are partial steps on one side of the climber which the kids like to climb up and down or hang out on. The slide is small for their sizes but they still love going up and down it. They also like to go in through the little back door and hide out under the platform (the platform is half the width of the climber and is where the kids stand on before sliding down).

This was very simple and quick to put together and is very sturdy. The platform and slide has survived repeatedly getting jumped on by my 6 year old. I keep thinking this is the day they are going to break it but it's still in one piece! :)

Good buy for the price. I had rented a hospital pump when first coming home from the hospital. I actually felt that the flanges on that pump were more comfortable than the Playtex ones. The Playtex flanges leave star shaped imprints on my breasts after I pump. I do love that this pump comes with the storage bag with cooler and other bags inside and that you can leave the pump part in the bag for use at work, etc. After having researched other pumps before purchasing this one, I think the Playtex pump is a good value and so far has been a very good pump - sure beats hand pumping for me.

I used a different brand of "hospital" grade for 13 months and loved the soft cups, but had issues from the start... customer service was no help either.

So far, and I've only used this one 2 times... this is far better as well as the quality.

I think I'll be more than happy with this one.

It is so hard to find a comfortable good supporting bra, let alone at a reasonable price. I think it is outrageous that most bras in the larger sizes cost over $35 each. They just do not last long enough to make that a fair price. Also, even Playtex bras, are not as well made as they used to be. That being said, this is a very good support bra for the well endowed figure and it is comfortable all day. I even sleep in my old ones. I highly recommend this bra.

This is a great bra for women with a fuller bust because the wide padded straps stop the ugly deep welts in your shoulders which you get with narrower bra straps. Small snags are that the full cut means that the bra sometimes shows with lower necklines and the bras don't last more than 1 year if they are in weekly use - but that's fair for the very reasonable price. The main drawback is that there is not complete separation between the breasts so that the middle of the bra doesn't rest flat on your chest. That said, it is an excellent and supportive bra for daily use.

This bra give really good support for a large busted woman

It is reasonably comfortable and holds up well for long term wear

if your breasts fill the cups completely

(I am a 38DD)

you get somewhat of a retro 1950's look

If you don't like that, it is easy enough to cover with a camosole

My husband really liked the effect

so no complaints from me

Price is very reasonable so

I intend to buy several more of these bras in different colors

I will be buying more of these bras. Wide straps and NO underwire to poke you or break. I am always buying different bras as I have not had much luck with any that fit but this one does. I've washed it several times and it has held up and while I've only had it for a few months, it is the one that I will purchase again. I also purchased several more expenisive bras than this one at the same time and this one still is better.

I bought this costume for my baby's first Halloween, and he was adorable! The costume looks as expected. The only complaint I have is that the velcro that holds it together (between the legs) comes apart easily. Snaps would have been better. I also wish it was made with a little bit more durable fabric. But it was super cute. This has endured a couple times through the washing machine and is still doing well.

Pleasantly surprised. Great quality, velcro closures, not cheap buttons (better and less expensive than the same item found locally). Fabric was medium weight and the costume was well made and had no defects in construction. Size allowed for ample wiggle room (we were able to put a warm sleeper underneath). My grandchild wore it comfortably (including the hood) the entire evening for trick or treating. All in all couldn't be happier with the Rubies Costume Co. EX-On Romper Costume, Cozy Cow, 6-12 month size.

The cow head (hood) and the bodysuit was a little big on my 17 lbs, 24" tall 6-month old baby, but it still looked pretty cute on him. The hood is an individual piece that's secured in place with a velcro taped at the neck. The ears, horn and tail all stood it's place. The material was thin and a bit rough but since it was chilly on Halloween, my baby wore something soft underneath. The black dots losted some of it's dark color and became slightly grayish after 2 washes (before and after wear). Overall, I think this costume is cute, but overpriced for the quality of it.

The costume arrived with the velcro (on the back) fell off. Even with the velcro on, there is a big opening. Shouldn't they make a zipper to seal the opening? The whole costume is made of cheap materials. We handwashed the product with cold water as instructed and noticed the black color turns to grey. Well, not all the black patches turned to grey. The hat piece was ok. Stay away from them if you can.

I bought this for my 7 1/2 month old daughter to wear for halloween and she was ADORABLE. What made this costume so good is I added white felt "ear tags" with her initial on one and the number 7 on the other one.Everyone thought she was the cutest thing ever.It is thin,but I felt that it wasn't an issue.It was cold and rainy when we went trick or treating and she wore a onesie, plus a fleece top and pants under it.She weighs approximately 19 lbs. and there was plenty of room in the costume.It could have used some more velcro,especially up the back,it gapped open some but it wouldn't be at all hard to add.We went to the grocery store afterwards and the cashiers said it was the cutest costume they had seen all night.
